At the Fall Samboree in Canton, TX, the Arlington Sams received a certificate and patch signifying 30 years as a Good Sam chapter. The award was presented by Texas State Directors Karen & Dewayne McAbee, Good Sam Sambassadors, Don & Helen Woodard and Area 13/17 ASD's, Don & Shirl Prater. Present for the award were two original charter members, Dot Bowland and Jesse McNellie.
