Arlington Sams
The Arlington Sams chapter was formed in 1979 and recently celebrated our 30th anniversary. We normally camp together on the third weekend of each month and usually stay within 100-125 miles of the D/FW Metroplex. As you can see on our MEMBERS page, our group comes from a wide area around the Metroplex. Our campout starts on Friday although some folks arrive on Thursday to have more time for fun and fellowship. Friday activities consists of visiting, sometimes a social hour, finger foods at 6 PM with various games afterward. Our hosts for the month usually prepare a breakfast for everyone on Saturday morning followed with a mid-morning business meeting . Many of us go out to a local restaurant for lunch and maybe some shopping or sight-seeing. Some just visit and/or play games. We have a potluck dinner at 6 PM with games or other activities following. The departure on Sunday morning is at your leisure. We would like to invite anyone interested in RVing to visit with us. There is no obligation or pressure to join. We know it can be awkward going to your first campout and we can arrange for a member to meet you at a convenient location and follow them to the RV park.
